Abstract:

Drug-resistant tuberculosis is developing in Iran and the world and now the emergence of resistant strains to most
drugs (MDR-TB and XDR-Extensive Drug Resistant) is a serious threat in the control and treatment of Tuberculosis.
We searched for studies in PubMed and Embase and Web of Science and ISI and Embase From Keywords Tuberculosis,
Drug Resistant TB, Multiple Drug Resistant AND Extensive Drug Resistant. . Of the 1452 abstracts found initially, The
researchers chose 39 articles that included entry criteria and most relevance to the subject. Regarding the spread and
prevalence of MDR-TB and XDR-TB and the emergence of new drug-resistant forms such as Pre-XDR-TB and TDR-TB,
and the problems that arise in the treatment of these advanced forms of tuberculosis, including the inability of all
patients to take medications and increased drug resistance, preventing the development of drug-resistant
Mycobacterium tuberculosis strains should be prioritized.
