Leaves and the whole plant of Andrographis nallamalayna were shade dried, powdered and were extracted through soxhalet by using three different solvents Hexane, Chloroform and Methanol. Preliminary Phytochemical screening revealed the evaluation of biomolecules. The presence of these bioactive compounds is associated with the antimicrobial activity of the plant. The leaf extract and the whole extract of Andrographis nallamalayana solvented by methanol showed the spectrum of inhibition of Escherchia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis were proved to be least sensitive while Escherchia coli is most sensitive to the test extracts.
