Miraculous health benefits of Ganoderma Lucidium have been documented in literatures
from ancient Greece to China, mushrooms have a long history as both, a food and a magical
remedy for ailment. A name which first appears in the 11th century the word “ling” probably
meaning “divine” or “divine herb” and “zhi” most likely the alternative for “chi” which
means “life force”. Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum), commonly known as Ling Zhi in Chinese,
is an herbal mushroom known to have miraculous health benefits.
