Simultaneous Estimation of Mosapride Citrate and Pantoprazole in Solid Dosage Form by First Derivative Spectroscopy Method.

The method describes simultaneous determination of Mosapride Citrate and Pantoprazole
from capsule dosage form. UV spectrophotometric method involves first derivative
spectroscopy using 252.10 nm & 302.48 nm as zero crossing points for Mosapride citrate and
Pantoprazole respectively. For spectrophotometric method, acetonitrile was used as a solvent.
Linearity was observed in concentration range of 4-20 µg/ml of Mosapride citrate and 4-20
µg/ml of Pantoprazole. Results of analysis were validated statistically and by recovery studies.
