| Abstract:

Sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors have emerged as a promising class of drugs for the management of diabetes mellitus (DM). Beyond their primary glucose-lowering effects, SGLT2 inhibitors exert a plethora of beneficial actions on multiple physiological systems. This review aims to elucidate the multifaceted effects of SGLT2 inhibitors on different systems in the context of DM management.
