Abstract: One of the most pressing issues facing the world today, particularly developing nations like India, is the prevalence of child labor. Child labor is primarily caused by widespread underemployment and unemployment among the adult poor, primarily as a result of the rapid growth of the population. Enormous families with low pay and frequently absence of instructive offices, lack of education and obliviousness of guardians about the significance of schooling as well as about the effect of work on the soundness of their kids are a portion of the reasons which breed youngster work. Throughout the long term, nonetheless, worldwide cognizance about the reality of the issue has made. The constitution of India additionally dedicated to the insurance and advancement of the government assistance contemplations over the monetary ones. Subsequently, series of boards of trustees and commissions have been named by the Public authority of India either explicitly on the subject of kid work, which gives us bits of knowledge into the issue and to give ideas to mitigate this issue. Modern government policies regarding child labor and development must be comprehensive and pragmatic.
