This review explained the microwave assisted synthesis of biologically active Schiff bases. Recently the microwave has become the useful nonconventional source for the organic synthesis. The main enforcements of green chemistry practices and principles make regulation, remediation and control, thus the scouring ecological interests may be expressed in terms of economic effect. This review the notion of synthesis of microwave assisted organic that is a significant tool for chemistry of green. Schiff bases are composing by reaction between amine group and carbonyl group that exhibit a wide range of biological activities, such as antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, anticancer. From decades the Schiff bases had been synthesizing by conventional way of heating which has taking a long time, 24 hrs to complete, So to improve the yield and to minimize the reaction time i.e., Within a second to minutes, this review has given the various microwave assisted methods for the synthesis of Schiff bases derivatives with diverse structure to have maximum biological activities. The Chemistry has wide scope for Carbon-Nitrogen bond forming reactions and upgrade from traditional towards modern synthetic and multidisciplinary methods. In chemistry, the preferred interesting topic that may benefit from advantages of Microwave irradiation process. The Microwave technique was intensively used to carry out many kinds of organic and Inorganic preparations and has become a useful non-conventional means of performing organic synthesis. In these review we systematic plotted condensation of the aldehydes and amines and its applications according to recent years development
