| Abstract:
|
The present study was aimed to investigate immunomodulatory activity of two marketed preparation viz., Trikatu churna, Giloy churna and one homemade churna in Cyclophosphamide induced myelosupression assay. In this study Leucocyte (WBC) count, RBC count and HB Count was investigated. The results indicate that all the three preparation (TC, GC and HC) possess the ability to counteract the myelosupressive effects of cytotoxic drug, cyclophosphamide by stimulating the bone marrow activity. However TC showed better results than other two.
