Sleep Dry Tongue Syndrom( Sdts)

Abstract: Sleep dry tongue syndrome (SDTS) were reported in medically fit 65-year female patient. The present case try to explain a dry tongue complain during supine position sleeping which disturb the sleep occasionally. Xerostomia during sleep time is a sensation of mouth dryness associated with of throat and/or tongue discomfort that result to awakenings for water intake. Unknown-origin dry tongue during sleeping could be occurred due to many factors which interfere with each other such as age, menopause woman and sleep position. Management of patients with such case is sedative and preventative.
