Poetic love stories fall under lyric poetry. This literary genre has poetic and prosaic formats containing over 600 writings, both printed and manuscripts, registered in the Iranian culture collections. Poetic anthologies have long been regarded as sources for the expression of passions and griefs, representing an intertwined collection of strong poet's imaginations based on social experiences. To express themes of a story, it is imperative to strengthen the parties to a story, as well as the ending of the story, and the way they contribute to a tragic or happy end. In essence, the beginning and ending of stories leave a sweet taste in the minds of the audience. Endings in anthologies have not been separately investigated so far, with no independent analysis ever undertaken to deal with it. Thus, this article aimed to examine the fate of lovers in five love stories in simple language. At first, stories are introduced by incorporating a summary of relevant stories, then their ending and fate are discussed in a separate part.
