The role of strategic management in the business plan of manufacturing companies

Abstract: Strategic management is a continuous process aims at creating and maintaining the fit and coordination between organization and environment and indicates the orientation of organization. A strategy is successful when it leads into strong competitive position, business growth, and appropriate profit margin. Although there are different strategies, almost all of them will succeed by targeting the area of business performance. Determining specific goals in each of these areas may increase customer demand or reduce costs. A goal can be strategic goal if its realization can result in achieving the general goals of business performance, goals such as the ability to compete effectively, business growth, and achieving appropriate profit margins. According to Peter Drucker, the task of strategic management is to look at the organization from the company's mission angle.
