This study aimed to determine the effect of green tea leaves on the Sertoli cells count and the seminiferous tubule epithelial thickness. This study used twenty-five adult male mice (Mus Musculus) BALB / C strains weighing 25-30 grams. The mice were divided into five groups (5 mice each group) depends on the combination of TCDD and green tea leaves ethanol extract which was designed as follows: (K-) 0 mg/Kg BW/day and 0 µg/Kg BW, (K+) 1.2 mg/Kg BW/day and 7 µg/Kg BW, (P1) 1 mg/Kg BW/day and 7 µg/Kg BW, (P2) 2 mg/Kg BW/day and 7 µg/Kg BW, and (P3) 4 mg/Kg BW/day and 7 µg/Kg BW. TCDD is injected as a single dose and green tea leaves ethanol extract administered orally for 53 days. Testicular histology slide was made with HE staining, to count the Sertoli cell and measure the seminiferous tubule epithelial thickness. Data were analyzed with One Way ANOVA and followed by Duncan's test. The results of this study showed a significant difference (p <0.05) between the treatment groups. This study concludes that the administration of green tea leaves ethanol extract 4 mg/Kg BW/day (P3) is the most effective group to maintain the Sertoli cells count (28.76 ± 2.24; p<0,05) and epithelial thickness (22.11 ± 0.49; p<0.05) because green tea extract has antioxidant effect to repair the male reproductive organ damage due to oxidative stress.
