In this paper we evaluate the pharmacognostical Profile of Coriandrum sativum and its Anti-hyperglycaemic Activity.“Therapeutic application of Coriandrum sativum medicinal plants in various diseases, their protection is also cost-effective, dependable, and simple to get. Coriandrum sativum, are widely used for diabetes in various conventional medicines to treat various diseases, so pharmacognostic profiling is needed to identify markers in these plants of this significant anti-hyperglycemic function. We have adopted method in vivo approach, the extract was given orally to insulin deficient mice (aloxan induced at dosage of 65 mg/kg bw iv) for 14 days at doses of 200, 400, and 800 mg/kg bw. The pancreas was isolated at the conclusion of the in vivo research. The -glucosidase inhibition activity research was carried out using an in vitro technique. The findings indicated that, compared to the positive control group, the extract at each dosage and glibenclamide 0.65 mg/kg bw could substantially decrease the glucose blood level after 3 days of treatment (p<0.05).” It's would be suggested that the ethanol extract of coriander leaves and seeds works by improving or renewing pancreatic beta cells to decrease blood glucose levels.
