Diabetes Mellitus is a most common disease that poses a challenge to human health due to its secondary complications and resistance. At present, researchers focused on anti-diabetic drugs which are potent activators of Peroxisome Proliferator-Activated Receptor Gamma (PPAR-?) without chronic side-effects. Present review will provide the information about the types of PPARs, mechanism and their significance.
