Influence Of Heterocyclic Compounds In The Identification Of Novel Molecules In Drug Discovery To Achieve Diversified Biological Activities - A Review

Author: SWARNA BHARATHI K, VELMURUGAN V
Abstract: Heterocyclic chemistry is amongst the most significant facets of organic chemistry study. Heterocycles seem to be the most prominent of the conventional synthetic branches of organic chemistry, and are of enormous biological and commercial significance due to the distinctive of their structural Skelton components. In certain aspects of life sciences, heterocyclic compounds are essential. In nature, medical field, and innovative area, these molecules play a variety of roles. Because of the ease of optimization and the analyzing capacity in terms of chemical space, heterocyclic compounds have received much interest for treating a variety of diseases and acting as anti-diabetic, anti-inflammatory, anti-malarial, and anti-viral agents. This present review highlights, the attempt of assembling the various pharmacological involvement of different derivatives of the heterocyclic moieties in drug design and development.
