Method Development And Validation Of Cypermethrin Pesticide Using Uv- Spectrometer

Abstract: Cypermethrin a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide which is used in many vegetables and fruits to get rid of pests. Synthetic Pyrethroid is similar to natural pyrethroid they are derived by the flowers of pyrethrums (chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium). This method is an easy, and could be used in laboratory which has no other instruments for analysis. The method was validated under ICH guidelines. The linearity was from 5-25 µg/ml and the regression coefficient was 0.992. The beer’s law was accepted for 5-25 µg/ml. The LOD and LOQ was 0.345 and 1.213 respectively.
