Perianal wounds are caused by Crohn’s disease, Hemorrhoids, Fissure, Abscesses and Rectal prolapse. The most common perianal wound complication is delayed perianal wound healing, and several risk factors have been linked to delay perianal wound healing. Hypoalbuminemia, a history of smoking, and alcohol intake have all been linked to a higher risk of a delayed perianal wound healing. Herbal products are a valuable source of a variety of pharmacological components, including antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, anticancer, and antiangiogenic substances. Herbal chemicals have been shown to hasten wound healing. Turmeric extract is a prominent ingredient in our formulation, it has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. To boost the bioavailability of the turmeric, we combined it with black pepper. We conducted an accelerated stability assessment of the formulation in order to determine its shelf life and stability. We stated that our formulation remained stable during the 6-month accelerated stability trial, resulting in a provisional shelf life of three years.
