Abstract:

The present research was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment group couple therapy using schematic conceptualization to improve the performance indicators of conflicting couples. in the present research the effect of group as an inseparable part of the independent variable has been considered. This was an quasi-experimental research method with pre and post test and control group.The statistical population included couples referring to counseling centers in Zahedan city located in Iran, That with targeted available sampling, 16 couples (32 people) were selected and randomly divided into two groups. Data were collected using standardised measuresthat was taken from both control and experimental groups before and after the intervention The results showed that the compiled protocol effective on improving couples’ performance. after 9 months, the questionnaire was repeated on the experimental group and the results showed the continuity of treatment in all components at 99% confidence level.
