In the present quasi-experimental research project, from among the statistical population of all elementary school students with disorder of learning mathematics in the academic year 2019-20 referring to counseling centers in Arak, we selected 24 subjects by purposeful sampling method and considering the inclusion and exclusion criteria. They were divided into two experimental and control groups by randomly assignation. Both research groups were evaluated at the beginning of the intervention, the end of the intervention and two months after the end of treatment. The obtained data were assessed using descriptive and inferential statistics (analysis of covariance and variance with repeated measures). The results showed that, in emotion management variable up to follow-up and in the variable of behavior control and executive functions up to post-test, the cognitive-behavioral play therapy was associated with significant effectiveness. According to the results, the cognitive-behavioral play therapy is of effect on improving emotion management and behavior and executive functions of students with math learning disorder.
