The present study aims to investigate the effects of a positive educational package based on the teachings of Masnavi (Nezami’s Khamseh) on the spiritual orientation and interpersonal forgiveness of the second-grade high school male students in Isfahan. To test the research hypotheses, the pretest and posttest data obtained for the experimental and control groups are analyzed using multiple descriptive-inferential methods. In the descriptive part, the central tendency and dispersion indices (mean, standard deviation, and standard error) are presented for the pretest and posttest groups. In the inferential part, in addition to investigating the required assumptions (intervalness and relativeness of covariates, normality of variables, homogeneity of variances, and uncorrelatedness of covariates), repeated measures analysis of variance (RMANOVA) is carried out. The sample includes 40 high school students randomly divided into two experimental (n=20) and control (n=20) groups. The research instrument is a standard questionnaire. The findings indicate that there are significant differences between the total scores of the communication skills and spiritual orientation obtained in the three measurement stages of pre-, post-, and follow-up tests and, also a significant interaction between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups and those obtained in the measurement stages. The results of the present study indicate that the positive educational package can influence the students' communication skills and spiritual orientation and improve their optimistic attitudes.
