Methanolysis and Hydrolysis Studies of Bimetallic Systems: Ba{Ti (OPri)6, and Ba{Ti2 (OPri)9}2

Abstract: Since Ba-Ti systems are often used as precursors for ceramics and superconducting systems, it was thought that study of the methanolysis and hydrolysis reactions of such systems would be beneficial. This paper includes the study of hydrolysis and methanolysis of a bimetallic system having an alkaline earth metal (barium) and a transition metal (titanium), Ba{Ti(OPri)6} and Ba{Ti2(OPri)9}2.
