The Effect of Emotional Intelligence and Learning Motivation on Student Achievement Levels(Survey in Junior High School Students in Bengkulu Province Years 2019)

Abstract: This study aims to influence emotional intelligence and learning motivation on Islamic religious education learning achievement. The population and sample in this study were junior high school students in Bengkulu province in the 2018/2019 school year. The research method used is descriptive quantitative approach method and the object of research is the junior high school in Bengkulu Province Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that emotional intelligence and learning motivation have a positive and significant impact on the learning achievement of Islamic religious education. The limitation of this research is that it only discusses how large the influence of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on student achievement, in addition to the amount the sample and population under study only junior high school in Bengkulu Province thus opening up opportunities for new researchers by taking up the same theme with a wider sample of research objects. The implications of this research are expected to be able to add to the repertoire of knowledge relating to the influence of emotional intelligence and learning motivation on the learning achievement of Islamic religious education.
