This study included (100) aborted women whose age range was (<15-50) years and attended the Medical city in Baghdad / Iraq during the period from 1st March to 1st November 2020. The results showed that most of the positive Toxoplasma IgM 63(55.0%) were localized in rural areas, while 64(78.3%) of positive Toxoplasma IgM was in rural and smoker non-aborted women. The age range (<20-29) showed the highest No. and percentage 59(59.0%), followed by the age range (30-39) 36(36.0%) then the age range (40-46) 5(5.0%) in women infected with Toxoplasma gondii. The IgM level of toxoplasmosis was highest within the age range group (<20-29), followed by the age group (30-39) then the age group (40-46) among aborted women due to toxoplasmosis. While the distribution of toxoplasmosis patients in rural areas was 58(58.0%) and in urban areas was 38(38.0%), in comparison with the control group. The results showed that positive MicroRNA-22 carriers among aborted women having Toxoplasma IgM antibody was 27(45.0%), while no positive MicroRNA-22 conditions were found among non-aborted women. There was a significant relation between mic-22 and cases with P value =0.005.
