Agni is the component that controls all metabolic activities in the body, and it is completely reliant on it. Grahani Roga is a situation in which Agni and the Agni ashaya are both hindered. Vataja Grahani is one of the most widespread Grahani species. Muhur badda, muhur drava, muhur mala pravrutti, udarashoola, amlodgara, avipaka, and visthambha are some of the signs. Ulcerative colitis is an idiopathic, chronic inflammatory disease of the colon mucosa that occurs in the rectum and usually spreads constantly over part or all of the colon; however, certain patients with proctitis or left-sided colitis may have a caecal patch of inflammation. Bloody diarrhoea is a hallmark symptom of the disorder. The therapeutic path is erratic, characterized by alternate cycles of exacerbation and remission. This explores the epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnostic strategy, natural history, medical and surgical diagnosis and major disease-related implications of ulcerative colitis.
