Warfarin is the widely prescribed anticoagulant in any clinical setup. Rapid bleeding manifestation associated with anticoagulant therapy is a major challenge in the field of global healthcare medicine. This may leads to severe life threatening condition including death. Vitamin K is considered as one of the widely accepted treatment option for Warfarin induced bleeding manifestation for non-emergency conditions. LMWH is considered as a safe medication compared to Warfarin as anticoagulant with less incidence of bleeding manifestations, but concomitant administration of LMWH and Warfarin increases the chance of bleeding manifestations. Haemoptysis is a least occurring adverse effect associated with Warfarin and accounts for around 7% all bleeding manifestation. Here we discuss a case of 54 year old male patient who developed haemoptysis and haematuria due to Warfarin and LMWH. This case can be considered as a classic case of Anticoagulant induced multiple bleeding manifestations. A close monitoring along with rapid reversal of the drugs with suitable alternative therapy is the prime target to manage bleeding manifestations. We conclude that similar strategy was also adopted in this case to manage the bleeding manifestations which lead to an uneventful recovery of the patient.
