Goat Milk: A Potent Nutraceutical

Abstract: Goat milk is one in all the earliest superfoods. It contains nutrients, minerals, electrolytes, trace elements, compounds, protein, and unsaturated fats that are utilised by the body easily. Goat milk could be a rich source of high-quality protein. Due to its lower levels of alpha-S1-casein content than bovines’ milkit may be better endured by certain individuals. Though it is nearest to cow milk nutritionally, some physical qualities of goat milk set it apart from other milk making it more consumable by several people without any complain of discomfort. The present review emphasises its medicinal importance by exploring different literature. Scientifically and traditional the goat milk is found to be used to manage different ailments like skin inflammation, asthma, bloatedness, constipation, abdomen discomfort and catarrh. Keeping in view of the availability and medicinal importance, an attempt has been made in this article to focus on the characteristics, various goatmilk product consumed worldwide and the pharmacological impact of goat milk.
