Abstract:

Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a rare, serious disorder of the skin and mucous membranes, also known as erythema multiform majus, it is a potentially fatal condition that manifests widely on the skin and mucosal surfaces, but also other vital organ. In 95% of case reports, drugs were found to be an important cause for the development of SJS.
We report a case of a 46-year-old female known case of Pulmonary Tuberculosis was on treatment – Anti tubercular drugs. Fifteen days after commencement of anti TB treatment she developed diffuse erythematous rashes over face, trunk and both extremities. There were ulcers on oral cavity. A diagnosis of Drug induced Stevens Johnson’s syndrome (SJS) /TEN overlap (skin detachment levels of 10% -
29% of the body surface area covered with erythema) was made.
