| Abstract:

Liver cirrhosis has become as one of the emerging reason for increased mortality rate. Several invasive and
non-invasive techniques have been utilized to diagnose liver cirrhosis. The utilization of MRI, Computed
Tomography and Transient Elastography has greater accuracy and also provide complete mapping of liver.
Supplements such as Zinc, branched Amino acids supplementation plays a significant role in management of
liver cirrhosis. Several anti-viral, antibacterial drugs are used to limit infection in patients with liver cirrhosis.
