Abstract:

Regional-Owned Enterprises in Indonesia is difficult to manage professionally because ROEs are within the scope of public and private law. This study aims to ascertain aspects of public law and private law of ROEs. This study is a normative juridical study using statue approach and cases approach. The results of the study show that ROEs are subject to public law because the aspects of capital originating from regional finance are subject to private law because they are independent legal entities. Institution of ROEs is different from other private companies because of ROEs capital comes from regional finances.
