We conducted a study to determine which agro-tourism product commodities would be designed as
educational tourism attractions based on community-based tourism. This research aimed to determine the
superior commodity that has the potential to be developed as an agro-tourism product using LQ and ShiftShare analysis tools, and also to design educational tourism attractions that involve the community as the main
tourism actors. Based on a review of government policies related to agro-industrial development as well as the
existing processing industry in Banjar Regency, the agricultural sub-sector that will be developed is the food
crops and horticulture sub-sector, the livestock sub-sector, and the fisheries sub-sector. Lok Baintan floating
market is the main attraction, but the tourist village area can be developed as an alternative. Other attractions
that are supporting are township travel, river tours, and plantation tours.
