Research objective:
Examination of antimicrobial activity of Calligonum aphyllum in vitro and in vivo in experimental burn disease.
Relevance of research:
The usage of different plants for medical purposes has been known since ancient times. Nowadays, despite the intensive growth of medicines, further examination of natural pharmacologically active substances remains a careful attention. This is evidenced by the fact that more than 40% of all medicines used in modern medicine are derived from plant material. One of the promising means to address the problem of complex treatment of inflammatory process may be biologically active substances of plant origin.
