The goal of this analysis is to optimize the microemulsion loaded with Itraconazole by phase titration. Selections
of content attributes for microemulsion formulation are selected by constructing a pseudo-ternary phase
diagram of different oils and surfactant concentrations. Optimization of the formulation technique of Itraconazole
microemulsion was carried out with 2 centre points by Central Composite Configuration using selected critical
material attributes such as different oils , surfactants concentration and evaluated for its effect on critical quality
attributes such as PS nm, ZP mV, EE percent, PI, RI, percent Drug Content and Self Emulsification Time (sec).
The Itraconazole Microemulsion chosen from this optimization research results is subject to calculation for its
in vitro drug release tests. The formulation of IM9 showed promising results in tests of particle size, poly
dispersibility index, entrapment performance and drug release. All of the above data indicates that IM9 was
chosen as an imp
