PCOD: Overview A Journey from Ayurveda to Allopathy

Abstract: Polycystic ovarian disease (PCOD) or polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is most common endocrine disorder in female. PCOS most common symptoms are irregular menstrual cycle, very heavy bleeding during periods, weight gain or excessive hair growth on face, chest, and lower abdomen. PCOS was firstly designated in 1935 by Stein and Laventhal. This review based on different medicinal systems like Allopathy, Ayurveda, and Homeopathy with case study of medicinal system. Allopathy does not cure PCOS, but Ayurveda and Homeopathy gives best cure and not shows any side effects.
