Many things can cause an increase in the professional commitment of a lecturer, one of which is achievement motivation. The aim of this research is to find an effort to increase the professional commitment of Islamic Private University lecturers in East Jakarta by identifying the strengths of the relationship between the achievement motivation variable and the commitment of the lecturer profession. The research method used was a survey method with a correlational approach. This study concludes that: There is a positive relationship between achievement motivation and professional commitment of lecturers through the regression equation Y = 43.72 + 0.66X.
