Abstract: In general, the respiratory symptoms that arise after someone is exposed to tuberculosis, one of which is breath. One of the chest physiotherapy methods that can be applied is the Active Cycle of Breathing Technique (ACBT), which has the main objective of clearing sputum's airway. The research objective was to determine the effect of an active circle of breathing on pulmonary tuberculosis patients' respiratory rate at the Regional General Hospital, Dr Hi. Abdul Moeloek, in Lampung Province in 2020. The research type is quantitative research, Quasi-experimental design. This research population were pulmonary tuberculosis patients in the Jasmine Room at the Regional General Hospital Dr Hi. Abdul Moeloek in Lampung Province at the time of the study were 20 patients, with a sample of 20 people. Data collection using observation. The data analysis used is t-independent. The results showed the mean score of respiration rate before Active Circle Of Breathing was 27.2 and after 23.2. The mean respiration rate scores before deep breathing exercises were 27.3 and after 26.1. There is an effect of an active circle of breathing on the respiratory rate of pulmonary TB patients (p-value 0,000). There is an effect of deep breathing exercises on decreasing RR in pulmonary TB patients (p-value 0.001). There is a difference between an active circle of breathing and deep breathing exercises in reducing RR in pulmonary tuberculosis patients at the Regional General Hospital, Dr Hi. Abdul Moeloek in Lampung Province in 2020 (P-value 0,000). Advice to Dr Hi. Abdul Moeloek, Lampung Province, Active circle of breathing can be applied as a nursing intervention in reducing RR in pulmonary TB patients.
