Bali Cattle is very important as the producer of products and services beneficial for human life purposes and is
a national asset in the agriculture sector. That's why their existence needs to be conserved, and the productive
population increased. This study aimed to quantify the relationship among Bali cattle's body weight and scrotal
size and the composition of common feedstuffs' nutrients. A total of 36 bulls from Lombok Tengah (LoTeng),
Lombok Barat(LoBar), and Lombok Utara (KLU), with an average age of 36 months, were used. They were
divided into three (3) groups based on scrotal size, namely P1 = smallest, P2 = medium, and P3 = biggest
scrotal size. The feed's quality commonly used in the regions was measured by proximate analysis (dry matter,
organic matter, crude protein, crude fiber, fat, Total Digestible Nutrients (TDN) and daily feed intake bulls
were recorded. Common feedstuffs ranged in nutritive value, from being a below maintenance feed source
(e.g., Soybean Straw) to a feedstuff that may individually support a moderate growth level (e.g., Cassava
Waste). The Total Digestible Nutrient intake was higher for bulls in LoBar location. They had the biggest
scrotal length = 20.38±2.19 cm, scrotal diameter = 10.33±2.05 cm, and scrotal circumference = 32.47±6.44
cm, as well as bodyweight, which was related to their nutritional management. Further investigation was
carried out, and it was concluded that improved nutritional management increased bull weight and scrotal size,
which had implications on their fertility.
