Acne Vulgaris evolve in any peer group mostly in women. It mainly causes excessive sebum secretion, which
seed a high degree of physiological agonization. Currently acne is showing an emotional impact on humans which
leads to low self-esteem and social isolation. Topical, systemic and conventional dosage forms are bracketed
with various side effects. Nanotechnology approaches have immense probabilities for designing a novel and
effective treatment of acne disease. The present review mainly focuses on different Nano technological
approaches which include solid lipid nanoparticles, microspheres, liposome, niosomes, surfactant free emulsions,
micro-emulsions, Nano-emulsions, micro sponges and fullerene's.
