Same Verses Detection Apllication: An Innovative Media For Memorizing Qur’an In Tahfidz Pesantren

| Abstract:

This study aims to design and develop application Same Verses Detection, an Android-based as an innovation for memorizing the Quran. This application was developed to make it easier for students to find the same verses when memorizing the Quran because one of the aspects those students complain about is that it is difficult to distinguish the same or similar verses. The method used in this research is Borg and Gall's development research through the stages of preliminary studies, needs analysis, prototype design, product development, testing. This research was conducted in 3 tahfidz Islamic boarding schools in Jepara, Kudus, and Pati, Central Java, Indonesia. The needs analysis indicates that the students found difficulties to memorize similarly or the same verses. The research result showed that 89.5% of the students of the Jepara Darut Ta'lim Islamic Boarding School, 49.3% of Pesantren Yanbu'ul Qur'an Menawan Kudus, 63.8% of the students Yanbu'ul Qur'an Boarding School 1 Pati. Al-Qur'an application media developed based on android with the name Al-Qur'an for Tahfidz. This application has four menus, namely the verse menu which can be used to search for verses, the juz menu which is equipped with information on the prefix of the verse at the beginning of the juz, the letter menu is equipped with information on the class of letters and the verse fragments at the beginning of the letter, the same verses menu contains a list of verses which is similar or the same and often mistakes or reverses when muraja'ah these verses.
