Abstract: Background: The allergic conjunctivitis is an allergic reaction is commonly seen in people suffering from other allergic diseases such as hay fever, asthma, and eczema. The aim of the study: to determine the age, gender and residency distribution of allergic conjunctivitis, the anatomical area of conjunctiva mostly effected, and the complication associated with this disease. Patients and Methods: A descriptive (Case series) study was carried during the period from 20/5/2019 to 20/11/2019 , A total of 1312 patients were enrolled in current study who attending Al-Nahrain eye Specialty Center in Ramadi city – Anbar government, Result: Of 1312 patients who suffer from eye diseases, 116 of them was diagnosed with allergic conjunctivitis which equal to 8.84% of all patients who enrolled in this study. From 116 patients who diagnosed with AC, 62 of them had at least one complication. Both keratoconus and corneal opacity account for >55% of AC complication. Most of the patients of allergic conjunctivitis without any complications have a good visual acuity test result (6/6=6/18) (98.08% and 96.15% for the right and left eyes, respectively) Conclusion: There is a great effect of the duration of allergic conjunctivitis and the occurrence of its complications. Most of the complications of allergic conjunctivitis result from bad treatment of the disease rather than the allergy itself. The allergic conjunctivitis by itself doesn’t affect the vision directly, but the reduction of visual acuity which seen in some patients of AC result from the development of its complications
