Complexes of Co(II), Cu(II), Ni(II), Pt(II) And Pd(II) with N3O-Chelating Ligand Incorporating Azo and Schiff Base Moieties: Synthesis, Spectroscopic, Thermal Decomposition, Theoretical Studies, and thermodynamic parameters

Author: , HIYAM HADI ALKAM, WASAN MOHAMMED ALWAN, REHAB KADHIM RAHEEM ALSHEMARY
Abstract: A new ligand of azo Schiff base and its metal complexes with Pt(II) ,Co(II), Ni(II), Pd(II) and Cu(II), as divalent ions of metal have been synthesized and depicted by e thermal and Macro- analyses, spectroscopic studies such as mass, infrared, UV–vis,1H-NMR, and magnetic susceptibility. The outcomes confirmed the coordination of the ligand through the nitrogen of the amine, azomethine and Azo groups and the oxygen of phenolic ion with the metal ions. The parameters of activation thermodynamic, such as ?E,*?G*, K, ?S*, and ?H* are determined from the TGA curves applying Coats– Redfern way. Program of (Hyper Chem-8 )has been utilized to predict systems of structural for components in the gas phase .The ligand and its metal complexes were screened versus four pathogenic bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis) as (+)ive gram, and (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli) as (+)ive gram. Lastly, these bacteria were obtained that components appear various efficacy of restraint on the bacteria expansion.
