New chain of Fe(II) complexes and Schiff bases have been destined and prepared from ligands by condensation of amino acids as L-histidine, L-arginine, L-phenylalanine, L-alanine and L-aspartic acid and 4-desamino-4-hydroxy Trimethoprim. Macro- analyses, spectra of IR, UV-Vis, in addition to measurements of magnetic moument and conductivity are utilized to clarify the recently synthesised iron(II) complexes structure.
Furthermore, the measurement of the stability and stoichiometry parameters of the synthesised complexes have been measured in spectrophotometric. The outcomes indicate that synthesised Schiff bases conduct as ligands of dibasic tridentate donors and link to Fe(II) in octahedral arrangement corresponding to the inclusive [Fe (L1-5) 2]. nH2O The The complexes interaction with DNA was examined at pH = 7, by applying measurements of viscosity and UV spectra. The empirical outcomes mentioned that the tested complexes might link to DNA through mode of intercalative and appeared a diverse DNA linking efficacy conforming to the order: H2L3 > H2L5> H2L2 > H2L1 > H2L4. Furthermore, the synthesised components are examined for their antibacterial efficacy in vitro versus three bacteria kinds as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Bacillus cereus , and Escherichia coli. The cytotoxicity efficacy were estimated with three cell lines of human cancer like (HeLa) of cervical, (HCT–15) of colon and (A549) of lung in which the [Fe(L5)2].H2O complex appears highest efficacy with the colon (HCT-15) cancer cell.
