There is no data available mostly on protection for products through storage or re-packaging in all these instruments, With the extensive use of dosage administration aids (DoAAs).
The purpose of the research is study of the physical and chemical stability properties of the re-packaging DoAA Metronidazole tablets. The tests have been performed immediately after heat-sealing on a widely used (flazi) Metronidazole tablet at DoAA often used in testing and then the surrounding environment (30 oC; 65 percent moisture content) over period of three years. we evaluated the Physical properties on the tablets (Description, hardness, Assay, Dissolution test) immediately after heat sealing, 3,6,9,12,18,24 and 36 months for three batches. High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)confirmed a chemical stability. In the different environmental conditions tested for standards samples that were stored in the original packaging the findings were compared. compendial physical and chemical stability criteria have been met over 3-year period for ambient conditions. For all environmental conditions, the second stability (chemically) of the metronidazole stock dropped at the acceptable limit of 101.3-105 percent of the quantity labeled.
This research is considered in support of DoAA metronidazole tablet stabilization, to help pharmaceutical industries in identifying good decides about re-packaging of metronidazole in such instruments.
