Post-extraction teeth haemorrhage can cause severe complications such as uncontrolled blood loss and infection. The flavonoids and saponin compounds in Ambonese banana stem sap can inhibit the production of prostaglandin, and tannins can accelerate wound healing through platelet activation. This study aimed to compare platelet count and bleeding time between groups after Ambonese banana stem extract was administered in mice tail wound. The mice (Mus Musculus) were divided into 4 groups as negative control, positive control, treatment group (P1) and Ambonese banana stem extract group (P2). The platelets were then calculated using the peripheral blood smears method and bleeding time by cutting the tail tip of the mice. The provision of Ambonese banana stem extract showed a significant difference in thrombocyte count (p = 0.000) and bleeding time (p = 0.005). Ambonese banana stem extract have potential to increase thrombocyte counts and shortens the bleeding time in mice tail wound.
