Early diagnosis of ovarian neoplasm is a key approach to improving the effectiveness of treatment. The review presents new data on the pathogenesis, classification and early diagnosis of ovarian tumor-like formations. The relevance of the problem of early diagnosis, the identification of the levels of oncomarkers CA-125 and HE-4 in benign tumors and tumor-like formations, based on the prevalence and difficulties in identifying this pathology, is indicated.
