| Abstract:

Pox virus is a viral infection belong to the virus family poxviridae that can penetrate human as a result of skin blisters. Tamarindus indica seed, chebulic myrobalan seed and crushed cocos nucifera pulp are the natural ingredients traditionally used for the treatment of chickenpox blisters and scars. This review aimed to study the formulation and evaluation parameters of the herbal cream used for chickenpox blisters and scars via pathophysiology of varicella zoster virus ,the tamarind and ,chebula seeds extraction process,the preparation of oil, the formulation of cream and its physicochemical and invitro/invivo evaluation.
