Abstract:
|
A compact spider spike fractal antenna is optimized and designed in this work for GPS, ISM and Medical band applications. The designed model is working in the operating bands of 1.6, 2.6 and 3.2 GHz respectively and suitable for medical wireless communication bands. Gain of more than 7 dB and efficiency of more than 88% are the key features of the designed antenna model. The parameters of the antenna like reflection coefficient, radiation patterns, gain and current distributions are analyzed and presented. The prototyped antenna on FR4 substrate providing excellent correlation between measurement results and simulation results.
