A review of the literature (foreign and CIS countries) devoted to the treatment of fractures of the humerus is presented. Based on a review of the literature and clinical experience, the authors concluded that there is no universal fixator for osteosynthesis of fractures of the humerus of different nature. Based on this, the authors propose to use more widely in practice plates with angular stability and blocked intramedullary osteosynthesis, which make it possible in most cases, to carry out active early rehabilitation with the achievement of a good quality of life for patients at the optimal time.
