Author: , MOHINUR I. ISMATOVA
Abstract: There are few studies on rhythmic gymnastics, and the purpose of this work was to determine the anthropometric profile depending on the factors predisposing to exercise. The sample consisted of 120 girls from the town of Bukhara, who were divided into two groups: girls engaged in and not engaged in rhythmic gymnastics. Anthropometric characteristics were analyzed, including body mass index, body size and proportionality using centimeter tape and circulating, the results obtained in these groups were compared. Regression analysis was carried out with separate groups of gymnasts. It can be assumed that higher values of height, torso length, minimal circumference of breasts, body weight predisposes the ability of girls to engage in or not engage in professional rhythmic gymnastics. The conclusion is that anthropometric measurements are decisive in choosing a gymnast of a particular category of competition.
