Government play an important role in softening one economic impact of coronavirus main responsibility of the government is to ensure the well being of the people particularly during emergencies and outbreaks like the recent corona virus outbreak. Government can spend money in order to ensure protection to prevent, control, and treat the disease. They can provide basic needs to the people who have been quarantined. They can provide tax relief for the people of the under sections as they couldn't afford to pay. Korea government has extended their helping hands and has offered income and VAT tax extensions to the affected industries.The Tamil Nadu government stopped the efficient functioning of schools and also stopped the other high risk areas like theatres, malls, worship places etc. The next major step during the progress of Covid19 was the complete lockdown which ensured that the movement of people is restricted completely to prevent the spread of the disease.Social distancing also came into practise since the lockdown was made even more strict by the honorable prime minister to break the intended chain.
