In 112 patients with purulent diseases on the background of diabetes mellitus, the effectiveness of the use of regional lymphatic antibiotic therapy, enterosorption, and application sorption by polyphepanum in complex treatment was studied. The results obtained have shown the high efficiency and prospects of the combined use of these efferent methods of therapy in the treatment of purulent-septic diseases in patients with diabetes mellitus. By increasing the number of local operations aimed at preserving the support function of the foot, which was facilitated by the combined treatment, it was possible to reduce the number of amputations at the femur level from 29.7% to 10.1%, on the lower leg from 17.2% to 4.2% and reduce mortality from 10.5% to 1.8%. The average length of hospital stay was 15.4 ± 1.7 days, which is 10 days less than in the control group.
